
Dolce Shot was a proud participant at the Bocce Ball extravaganza in Bal Harbour, FL, on August 18, 2010 to raise awareness of spinal-cord injuries and to raise money in support of the world's premier spinal-cord medical research organization. The Miami Project is headed by Marc Buoniconti, son of NFL Hall of Famer Nick Buoniconti, who has lived life fully since a college football injury left him wheelchair-bound since 1985.Located at the University of Miami's Miller School of Medicine, the Miami Project and the affiliated Buoniconti Fund supervises an international team of more than 200 scientists, researchers and clinicians determined to find the cure.The Miami Project to Cure Paralysis
