Dolce Shot was a proud participant of Dolce Entertainment's 'Couture Art to Wear' fashion show on December 3, at Nikki Beach, One Ocean Drive, Miami, Florida. The show featured work and designs by world-renown digital media artist, Laurence Gartel.The Dolce Shot Girls were present in full force with all three flavors of Dolce Shot for the attendees.
Digital Media Artist GARTEL changes his “canvas” to high couture reveals his latest creation of “Art-to-Wear” custom outfits. GARTEL’s Computer Generated imagery has been challenging the world for the past three decades beckoning all to say, “how does it do it?” The catwalk was filled with light and flowing fabrics from dresses to bathing suits.
The night was filled with all sorts of flavored entertainment including DJ Beats by Chilly and Soul P, singer/ song writer M'DELA and a percussion/ drum performance. Electric car "Tesla" will also be present. There will be live body painting and a silent auction of a one-of-a-kind GARTEL hand-painted bathing suit, benefiting charity.
Fitness Model, Actress, and Celebrity Spokesperson Amy Vitale modeled the new, custom clothing of world-renown Digital Media Artist GARTEL on the fashion runway, premiering his first ever "Art To Wear.” Vitale displayed GARTEL's unique bathing suit, art in motion, under the Miami moonlight at GARTEL’s Couture Art to Wear.
A Pioneer of digital media art for over 35 years, Laurence GARTEL's work is on permanent display world-wide in such museums as the Smithsonian Institution's Museum of American History, Bibliotheque Nationale in Paris, and Victoria and Albert (V&A) Museum in London. Earning such prestigious awards as the Life Time Achievement Award from the Chancellor of Austria, GARTEL's biography is in many of the ‘who's who’ publications including Who's Who, and Who's Who in the World.
Now GARTEL has broken into a whole new class of art with his couture clothing collection that includes everything from dresses to bathing suits, using vibrant colors and flowing fabrics to make a unique fusion of painting and fashion design.
